Isn’t it funny how when we want to describe something as being aesthetically pleasing, we now refer to it as instagrammable? It is the world we live in (for now). I myself love Instagram and taking pictures to upload to it. I also love coffee, and pretty coffee shops…so I thought, why not do a series of the most instagrammable coffee shops in (or around) Raleigh? Some of these Raleigh coffee shops are simply charming and they can often offer an array of different types of coffees and food.
I wanted to start off this series with one of my favorite coffee shops, Lucette Grace. This is a little coffee shop located in downtown Raleigh and is a French inspired shop that also offers things like sandwiches and desserts. I have been here more than a few times sipping on a coffee and eating one of their delectable sweet treats (which is also a little work of art).
They are always changing up their dessert offerings and usually have pretty themed cakes like the one below that we got during pride week in Raleigh. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad dessert (or coffee) at Lucette Grace.
And did I mention the macarons yet? They are possibly the best macarons I have ever eaten in Raleigh. They are always the perfect taste and consistency and just like the cakes, they also offer seasonal selections.
But it’s not just the food and coffee that keeps me coming back, it’s also the cozy decor. It has that industrial warehouse look with a beautiful exposed black and white brick wall with a colorful sign that really pops.
I personally like to sit by the window and watch downtown Raleigh while I drink my coffee and enjoy my dessert.
I hope you enjoyed this little piece of Raleigh with me and if you are ever here for a visit I highly recommend Lucette Grace. Luckily Raleigh is full of coffee shops to explore and I am looking forward to visiting more to capture those sweet Instrammable moments.
