It’s a beautiful, cool Saturday morning here in Raleigh and my husband will be working all day, so of course a little shopping trip is in order.
But no shopping trip is complete without coffee.
There were three stores that I wanted to stop in, Marshalls, Ross and Ulta.
They are all in the same shopping plaza, so that always makes it so much easier. I first stopped in Ross as I like to look at their shoes and housewares. They already had out some very cute booties, cozy sweaters and some really cute handbags from Aldo. I was also surprised to see they had the “teddy bear” coats as they are very much on trend right now. If you are looking for one for a good price then definitely look at Ross first as the ones that I saw were only $18.99 and they had some of the cutest colors.
I didn’t get anything from Ross this time around, so the next stop was Marshalls. I love shopping these stores…they are like little treasure hunts to see what you can find.
Shopping selfie! Loving this neutral cardigan with the hint of stripes underneath.
Let me just say that I was pleasantly surprised by all of the beauty products that Marshalls had this time around. My plan for Ulta was to get an eye cream and eyebrow pencil, but I found these items and more at great prices. I was so surprised to see luxury brands such as Nars, Stila, Bobbi Brown, Too Faced and Clinique. I did stock on a few items that you will see below.
Also, they were already putting out all of their Christmas decor. Now, I know some people say that it’s too early…I am not one of those people! Between October and December is simply my favorite time of year, so whether it’s fall or Christmas decor, I am here for all of it. Are you the same or are you a team “too early for Christmas” girl?
Side note: I am loving that the leaves are finally starting to change colors…we are nowhere near the peak yet, but they are subtly getting there.
Last stop: Ulta. Although I got a pretty good beauty haul from Marshalls, I still wanted to go over to Ulta to see what they had.
Be still, my beauty loving heart!
It’s always so hard to leave without wanting to buy all the beauty products, but I somehow manage. I do love to walk around to see what’s new and what may be on sale. This time around I got the Benefit pore-fessional primer because they had a package of buy the regular size get a travel one free. I use this primer everyday, mostly on my nose and cheeks as this is my trouble area for pores…most likely due to sun damage as this is where I always get sunburned first. This primer truly does “shrink” the pores to where you can’t see them, with or without makeup. I highly recommend it if you trouble spots too.
Ah, more Christmas! They had the cutest beauty gift sets already displayed.
So, you may be wondering what are all the goodies that I picked up today. Like I said above, I got a great beauty haul from Marshalls. I ended up purchasing the Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette, Stila Sketch & Sculpt Brow Pencil, Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in the color Sonata, Bobbi Brown Smoky Eye Black Mascara and Elizabeth Arden Eye Renewal Cream. The total cost for all five items? $48.95. The retail cost for just the Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Pallete? $39.00.
Just look how gorgeous this palette is. The perfect colors for fall and winter this year.
I hope you enjoyed following along on my shopping trip. I will be having more “Come Shopping With Me” posts as I am always out and about either actually shopping for something or just window shopping.
Do you also like “treasure hunting” in places like Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc?
Do you think it’s too early for Christmas stuff to be out?
Do you also get a coffee before you go on shopping trips?
I’d love to hear from you!
