As the season transitions out of warm weather and into the cooler months of fall, I have added a few things to my skin care routine that I have been loving this season. Now that the temperature is dropping and the heat is coming on, it is so easy for my skin to dry out and get blemishes if not properly tended to. Here are the five skin care items that I have been using (and loving) the most this fall.
+ Forio Luna – First let’s start with the Forio Luna. I absolutely love this little facial cleaner as it really does make my skin so soft after using it. It does a great job at removing excess oil and dead skin. I use this to clean my face every 2-3 days as needed.
+Vaseline Lip Therapy – Not only do I use this lip balm during the day, but I also coat my lips in it right before bed too. My lips can get so dried out overnight between the heat being on and also having the ceiling fan on too. This little container of lip balm is very hydrating and does a great job at keeping my lips moisturized and from getting chapped during the colder months.
+Avene Hydrance Moisturizer – It’s no surprise to say that during the fall/winter season that I like a thicker moisturizer for my face, and this one gives me exactly what I am looking for. Avene is a great French brand of skin care that not only works, but has the most amazing smell too…you will truly feel pampered using their products.
+Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Biocellulose Mask – A weekly facial is a must during the fall and winter seasons. Not only is the air outside harsh and ultra drying, but the forced heated air inside is the same. I like to apply a weekly face mask and is there any better time for a pumpkin spice facial than fall? Pumpkin contains vitamin A, C, and E, and antioxidants, which help fight sun damage and wrinkles. It also has fruit enzymes that help naturally exfoliate dead skin cells. It also contains zinc and potassium to combat redness. It’s a cocktail of the perfect ingredients for a good facial.
+Nuxe Multi-Purpose Dry Oil – Oil is a hard thing for me to wear because it always feels, well…oily. I don’t like that feeling and it’s so hard to find a good one that doesn’t. That is until I found Nuxe multi-purpose dry oil. I use this oil for a little bit of everything. I will use just one spritz in my face moisturizer for an extra boost for my face, I will use it on my neck and chest area as well as even using a little in my hair while it’s damp. It a great multi-purpose oil to keep on hand and a little bit goes a long way.
With each new season I always change up my skin care items and I love to share the ones that are working best and are good quality. Let me know if you try any of them and how they worked for you or let me know what products you like to use for fall and winter.
