‘Tis the season to start looking for Christmas decor! I do have some already, but I wanted to get just a few more things for the house to make it more festive this year. I don’t know about you, but I am already in the Christmas mood even though Thanksgiving hasn’t even happened yet. So what better way to satisfy that mood then by going Christmas decor shopping?
But first as always, coffee. This time I just decided to make my own at home instead of going to Starbucks. It is quite cold outside and very windy, so anything I can do to be outside as little as possible is the goal.
You should know by now where I was going to start shopping…Marshall’s and Ross. As I have said before, these are the two stores I go to first because they are so budget friendly.
I went to Ross first and looked through their Christmas decor. They had a pretty good selection, but the only thing I got was a cute red doormat that has snowflakes on it for $5.99. But I enjoyed looking at all the pretty items.
The one thing that I did find that I did end up buying was this cute striped sweater. This looks almost like the popular one on Amazon, but at a much better price of only $15.99. It was cozy and very soft and a great buy for that price and it was the only one they had left too, so I got very lucky.
But that wasn’t the only cute sweater that I found…
And the obligatory shopping selfie since I seem to do these every time I go shopping.
Next up was a trip to Marshall’s. But first, can we stop and appreciate these gorgeous leaves? They only have a few more weeks left unfortunately.
The first place I went while in Marshall’s was the beauty section. I always like to see what new items they have in. They had a lot of NARS and Too Faced items for very good prices, especially this lip palette from NARS. I didn’t get anything though, I just enjoyed looking.
The purses across the isle were already giving me Christmas vibes.
Marshall’s had all of the cute Christmas items out. I looked at throw blankets, pillows, kitchen items, home decor, candles and all the cute packaged sets.
I found the cutest picture too. #mood.
I was able to find some Christmas goodies for the home and maybe some cozy slippers too.
I also found this great full length mirror which had this beautiful border around it. I have been looking for a quality full length mirror for a long time that didn’t cost $50.00 or more and today I found it on sale for $20.00! I definitely bought it.
So, here is everything that I purchased for the Christmas decor. I got the red snowflake outdoor rug, a buffalo plaid apron (because someone’s got to do all of that Christmas baking), a blue/green glass christmas tree that lights up, striped kitchen towels and a plaid sherpa lined throw blanket.
I hope you had fun doing some Christmas decor shopping with me. I think this will be all I need, so now I just have to wait (impatiently) to decorate.
