October came and went so quickly and I can’t believe we are already in November. October was a fun month of watching the leaves change, cool mornings with crisp air and of course watching all of the Halloween movies! I am ready to settle in to this month of the fall foliage hitting its peak, family visits, cozy weekends at home by the fire and of course Thanksgiving.
Here is a list of what life will be looking like for me this November.
+What I’ll Be Reading – I always like to read at least one book a month and this is the perfect month to settle into a cozy book. This month I will be reading The Inviting Life: An Inspirational Guide To Homemaking, Hosting and Opening The Door To Happiness.
+What I’ll Be Wearing – Experts say that we wear 20% of what we own 80% of the time and I think there is some truth to that statement. This month I have two shirts that I am sure I will be wearing on repeat. The first is the Missoni shirt that I got from Target (I simply love this shirt). And when it is colder outside I will definitely be snuggling up in this teal sweater from Anthropologie.
+What I’ll Be Watching – So many good things that I plan to watch in November! First, The Crown comes back on Netflix for its third season and I am absolutely ready to cozy up and dive back into this show. Netflix will also be releasing the Christmas special for The Great British Baking Show…I am obsessed with The Great British Baking Show, so you know I will be catching their Christmas special. No November is complete without watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on Thanksgiving, it’s simply tradition. And one movie I will be sure to catch is You’ve Got Mail. Although the timeframe of the movie spans a year, the fall and Christmas scenes of the movie are beautiful and puts me in the Thanksgiving/Christmas mood every time.
What I’ll Be Eating – Besides a delicious Thanksgiving dinner? I will be making this delicious butternut squash alfredo this month a few times. This is one of our favorite fall dishes and I love making it every year during the month of November.
+What I Am Anticipating – Again, besides Thanksgiving of course? We will be taking a road trip to Asheville where we will do the Candlelight At Night Biltmore Christmas. I have been wanting to do this for years and I am so happy that I get the chance to go this month.
+What I Am Listening To – This month I will basically have my Spotify fall playlist on repeat. For my fall playlist I like to listen to cozy songs, like the ones you might here in a coffee house. I like the soft melodies and soothing lyrics. Here is a link to my fall playlist if you’d like to listen along.
