Hello everyone, it’s Sunday so that can only mean one thing…it’s time for another weekly snaps post! This week seemed to be a bit blah for me (we all get them!) It was so cold and cloudy all week long, it felt more like winter than fall. But only 11 more days until Thanksgiving and I am for sure counting them down. I love Thanksgiving, but I am very much looking forward to decorating for Christmas and already have just a few things out.
But before I get ahead of myself, let me start with last Monday. I didn’t have any work since Monday was a holiday, so I took the time to relax and to go on an Autumn walk since it was warm with a temperature of 65 degrees. The leaves were so beautiful and I will miss them so much when they are gone.
Joseph and I also went to the mall because I needed dry shampoo from Sephora and he wanted to get the pumpkin spice nespresso capsules from Sonoma-Williams. They are already decorated for Christmas and it looks beautiful. We also stopped by the Salvation Army angel tree and chose a child to shop for this holiday. It’s our yearly tradition.
I also stopped into some of the stores to visit their Christmas items and displays.
Come Tuesday though and the temperature dropped to the 30’s and it rained all day long. I love a good rainy day, but not when it’s cold and I have to be at work.
The weather never did get much better throughout the week and I was feeling tired (probably also due to the time change too). But, at least there’s always coffee!
But when you don’t feel like walking all the way to the Starbucks there is always the “make your own” version from the grocery store. I got the peppermint mocha to drink throughout the month.
Come Friday I was feeling beat and was ready for the weekend. Saturday I woke up and went shopping for Christmas decor which you can read about here.
I came home and put some of the Christmas decor out, so I am now officially in between fall and holiday decor.
Saturday night I just made an iced coffee, snuggled in and watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Yep, I am already in the holiday mood!
Sunday was my usual trip to Trader Joe’s. Also, I have been basically living in sweaters and cozy socks and drinking all the hot coffee this week, how about you? Has it been cold and rainy where you are too?
Well the good news is that this cold front should break soon and we will be back in the 60’s for temperatures and we are getting very close to Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will spend this week preparing for my sister’s arrival and preparing for Thanksgiving at home. I hope you have a great week and I will return next Sunday for another weekly snaps.
