Now that we have officially entered the winter season, it is time to officially break out all of the winter pieces. I love a good curated wardrobe and there is something just so cozy about a winter wardrobe.
Full of sweaters, seasonal colors and rich textures, it’s no wonder it’s so fun to create a winter wardrobe. I wanted to share some of the looks that I have been and will be wearing this season.
It’s winter, so naturally I have some turtle necks that I like to wear this time of year. I have a few neutral turtlenecks in black and gray and this pink and red striped sweater.
I definitely have a thing for blue. I have a few blue sweater that I enjoy wearing, especially a v-neck as they give the look an easy going look as it shows just a touch of skin on the chest.
I also keep a few cable knit sweaters in the closet too. I got both of these sweaters in Paris last year and still love them.
No winter wardrobe is complete without a little cashmere. I actually have four cashmere sweaters in gray, black, beige and this fun green color.
Then there are the sweaters I have just for lounging at home. This striped one seemed to be very popular this year and I found this one at Ross for only $15.00. Not only is it cute, but it is actually quite soft too.
When I want to look a little more polished I will wear a sleeveless top with a blazer. It’s a classic look that never goes out of style.
And for a touch of winter whimsy I always pull out a little velvet. I got this cute velvet top from Ann Taylor a couple of years back and still wear it every winter.
Do you have a few favorite go-to’s for winter? What type of things do you like to wear? Let me know in the comments.
