Is there anything more charming than a little coffee station in your home? My husband and I are absolutely coffee people…I drink at least two cups a day and he does more like four or five, so having a coffee station is something we knew we wanted in our home. We primarily use our Nespresso Citiz machine to make coffee, so we started there and brought in everything that we would need for a chic and functional coffee station.
I wanted the coffee station to have a neutral color palette with pops of color created by the coffee pods. I brought in this white tray for everything to sit on and then set out a few black and white coffee cups. There is also a small sugar cube bowl for anyone who wants to add a little sweetness to their coffee.
I knew that we needed some kind of storage container for the coffee pods and so I picked out a glass container with a black lid to first keep with the neutral theme and to also provide the color element of the coffee pods. I did not want to cover up the pods as they provide some visual interest to the coffee station.
It is one of my favorite places in the home. It is a place where I lovingly make myself a cup of coffee to enjoy every morning and on the weekends. Especially right now when it is cold outside, it is a place of comfort as I enjoy preparing the coffee and smelling the fresh brewed coffee throughout the downstairs as I relax with my cup and enjoy those quite moments.
