I don’t know about you, but there is something so cozy about bundling up in a cashmere turtleneck in winter and visiting a beautiful coffee shop. Raleigh recently had a little snow storm, so after a few days of being cooped up in the house, I was ready to get out and to get a change of scenery.
It was a sunny, yet cold Saturday morning when we bundled up and took a trip to downtown Raleigh to go to Heirloom Brewshop for some hot lattes. This is a newer coffee shop that opened in the warehouse district of Raleigh and was a great place full of sunshine and the smells of freshly brewed coffee to chase away those winter blues.
A beautiful coffee shop almost like no other with its blush pink accent colors and whimsical latte art, it has certainly set itself apart from the others. The music was the perfect kind of eclectic coffee house music that you would expect as they played Alaska by Maggie Rogers as we entered the coffeeshop which provided the perfect soundtrack to enjoy a good cup of coffee and conversation.
If you happen to be in the downtown Raleigh area I highly recommend stopping into this instagrammable coffee shop and be sure to order a latte and enjoy the beautiful swans swimming in your cup as you warm yourself up with a little coffee as well as a little whimsy.
